September is rapidly drawing to a close. What a month this has been. I turned 65 and received 2 pay cuts! Medicare took its cut of my Social Security check and the USAF took another bite out of my retirement check with increased Insurance costs. But…
Kathy & I spent a wonderful week driving out to Yellowstone National Park, spending 3 days with our grandkids (and their parents too). Saw lots of wildlife on the way out to the park, while in the park, and on the way home. On the drive home it was hard not to turn around and go back. It was such a wonderful time away from large crowds of people.
Am working through the large quantity of pictures I amassed on the trip. Here are a couple that I have gotten to so far. As you can see, the Aspens were starting to turn to their fabulous fall colors.
We came by a Prairie Dog Town as we drove through Custer State Park in South Dakota on the way home. This little guys (and gals) seemed as intrigued with me as I was with them. Kathy spotted this couple sitting up keeping an eye on us. They posed for me for several clicks before going back into their home.
More to come in the days ahead. If you have never visited Yellowstone NP, you really should put it on your bucket list. Have a fabulous day and week.
